Delicate, Buttery Flounder With Green Garlic - NYTimes.com
Seems fairly straight forward… Now to find some flounder…
Well, no luck recovering the phone. But I did send it a nice note, thanking the person for finding it and asking them to leave it at the front desk of the Mercedes dealership.
I also showed that cute salesman how to set up ‘Find my iPhone’ on his 3gs. He didn’t know he could. He was totally into the whole experience.

Soft-Shell Crabs - Three Methods, Four Coatings, Five Sauces - NYTimes.com

A Louis Armstrong Performance, Recipes Included - NYTimes.com
The Press Club recently discovered an LP of the performance, one of just 300 pressed, with liner notes listing three dozen recipes that are said to have been Armstrong’s favorites. Now, Smithsonian Folkways is releasing it on CD and as a digital download.

White beans and ham hocks, and “Louisiana caviar” — like the Middle Eastern eggplant spread, but zapped with Tabasco — could not be simpler and tastier. There are fried chicken, three kinds of po’boy sandwiches and a seafood gumbo recipe that serves 25.
Yeah… I may need to get a copy of this…
