1. 016 - Ingredients
On a cold winter’s night you want something warm to fill your stomach. With these few standard ingredients that any Chinese person usually has around the house, you can make one of the best dishes for a winter’s night - congee (or porridge as we call it in Malaysia).
The meat in this case is chicken, and it’s really simple to make. My mother arrives tonight at quarter to midnight, and she wanted something ready to eat when she got back to my apartment. As she’s never experience this kind of cold before, what better than a bowl of congee?
